Town of Meeker cracking down on dead trees, unmowed lawns
MEEKER I Meeker Mayor Regas Halandras and the Meeker Board of Trustees have focused their attention on the long-standing weed and property clean-up ordinance.
Meeker won’t do local tree chipping
MEEKER I Meeker’s town administrator announced on Tuesday that the town will not be doing limb chipping services this year. “Due to staffing constraints and numerous priority projects, the Town of Meeker is not providing limb chipping services this year,” he said.
Sidewalk project set after July 4
MEEKER I The project grant was awarded in 2008, but the first phase of the Town of Meeker’s grant from the Colorado Department of Transportation to design and build sidewalks and curbs along both sides of Market Street through town is expected to begin sometime after the Fourth of July.
Work starts to bring utilities to hospital, east
The project to extend water and sanitary utilities out to the new Pioneers Medical Center at Meeker Terrace, to the Curtis Creek area, and then out to County Rd 15, began on April 24.
