Wilson Creek, Deer Gulch wildfires partially contained

As of press time Wednesday, the Wilson Fire nine miles north of Meeker had burned 350 acres and was 25 percent contained.

Wildfire off Buford-New Castle Road fully contained; five acres burned

Firefighters successfully contained the five acre Clark Creek fire located approximately 14 miles north of Rifle, Colo., off of Forest Service Road 245 in Garfield County this week. Blair Fire not growing; fire crews downsizing
