Third-place finish gives Meeker volleyball momentum as they head home Aug. 28

Last weekend, the Meeker High School volleyball team opened its 2026 season on the road at a tournament in Glenwood Springs. The Cowboys opened the tournament with a loss to Glenwood Springs on Aug. 21 but responded with three consecutive victories to finish third overall.
Despite the opening loss, head coach Greg Cravens said he was pleased with how the team responded throughout the rest of the weekend.
