Trey Morris, a senior at Meeker High School, was invited to play basketball at the International Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio in July. He was one of ten players invited from Colorado to attend the USA Junior Nationals week long tournament. The team played a total of 13 games during the week, winning eight and finishing in the quarter finals. Along with Morris were Sam Lounsberry, Jeremy Sabo and Tim Wells, all of Eagle Valley High School; Garrett Miller of West High School in Pueblo; Gustavo Zavala of Durango High School; Lake Reed of Rocky Mountain High School in Ft. Collins; Allen Johnson of Belleview Christian of Westminster; Corey Adams of Dolores High School and Jason McClellan of Canon City High School.
