Ten Meeker youth traveled to Grand Junction, Colorado, on March 12 for the Colorado State S3DA Indoor Archery Tournament. Five of them placed in the top three of their class. Brighton Bair earned a first place and also won scholarship opportunities; Auri Murray took second place; Jemma Bair took first place; Alexandria Trout took second place; and Heath Bennett took first place. All classes had some fierce competition, some separated by just one point or X counts. The group will travel to Vernal, Utah, on April 1 for the National Indoor Tournament. All young archers are welcome to stop by the 4-H building in Meeker during practice on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. to see what the S3DA program is all about. | COURTESY PHOTOS
