Rangely hosts middle school track meet Saturday
RANGELY I The Rangely Junior High School track team took 31 athletes to Craig for a meet Saturday, their second meet of the season. According to the coaches, the cool weather made for good performances and many of the athletes set personal bests in at least one of their events.[Read More…]

Thomas Jefferson Fritzlan passed peacefully on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Colorado State Veterans Home in Rifle, Colo. He was 86.
MCWC hosts tournament
MEEKER I The Meeker Community Wrestling Club’s youth team will host the Casey Turner Memorial Tournament on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. More than 60 wrestlers are out for the team this season; more than 35 wrestled in Rifle and most are expected to wrestle in Meeker on Saturday.
Rangely Little League teams raise money
RANGELY I Three new Rangely Little League teams will spend the next month trying to meet a $1,500 to $2,000 fundraising goal for costs associated with joining the league, coach and organizer Jerry LeBleu said this week.
