MEEKER I The third White River 4-H Swine Club meeting was held on March 19.
The meeting was call to order by President Casey Turner at 7 p.m. Club members then did the Pledge of Allegiance, the 4-H pledge and roll call.
The club members decided they will plant flowers at the Walbridge wing for the community pride project.
Kenzie Turner did a demonstration on “how to pick your pig,” showing new and returning members what to look for when picking your pigs.
The other demonstration described the different pig breeds to pick from.
President Casey Turner then handed out flyers with places or people to contact to get pigs from along with a list of places to get pig feed.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:39 p.m. The next White River 4-H Swine Club meeting will be held April 30 at 7 p.m.
