Rangely Elks lodge hosted the first annual Brewfest on June 15, complete with a dance-off (above). Members of the lodge would like to thank Western Rio Blanco Metropolitan Parks and Rec for the use of their facility and all the employees’ hard work, The Town of Rangely, Jeff Rector and all who came and supported this event. Craft beer was provided by Storm Peak Brewing Co., Yampa Valley Brewing Co., and Grand Adventure Brewing Co. Local band Fiscus and Gravy started the evening with live music followed by New Gene from Denver. Catering the event was Sodexo from Rangely, Taco El-Toro from Rangely, and The Purple People Eaters from Meeker. The money raised will be put into the Elks scholarship programs. Once again thank you to all that contributed to making this a fun event, we can’t wait to see everyone next year. The lodge will have comedian night July 27.
