Ashley Moon (right) accepts the first ever Cavity-Free at Three Recognition Award from Karen Savoie, registered dental hygienist and education director for the Cavity-Free at Three program, on Thursday, May 3 during The Colorado Trust Health Integration Summit in Breckenridge, Colo. Moon is a registered dental hygienist and implements the Cavity-Free program as oral health coordinator through Connections 4 Kids, the early childhood council serving Moffat and Rio Blanco counties. Savoie cited Moon’s and Connections 4 Kids’ public relations efforts and relationship with Colorado Northwestern Community College’s dental hygiene program among the local program’s successes.
