The Meeker Beavers 8-10 baseball team ended their season as the Colorado River Valley Little League champions after winning the league tournament held in Rifle Friday and Saturday. The Beavers had to beat a Silt team twice, including once in the championship, with only eight players, to win the league title in the double-elimination tournament. Playing for the Meeker Beavers were Jeremy Woodward, Kyle Wangnild, Bradey Potetz, Brayden Garcia, Colton Wille in front. Standing are coach D.J. Ridgeway, Tanner Ridgeway, Todd Patterson, coach John Patterson, Cooper Main and coach Mike Wille. Zagar Brown is not pictured. The coaches wanted to publicly congratulate and thank the players for all their hard work and effort during the season.
