RANGELY | Chris and Maria England of Rangely are this week’s “home of” honorees. Chris is a Rangely native “born at Rangely District Hospital.” He attended Rangely schools, kindergarten through college at Colorado Northwest Community College. Maria moved to Rangely in 1997. The Englands were married March 14, 2005.
Chris is the manager at Rangely True Value Hardware. Chris has worked there for five years. Maria is a homemaker.
Chris and Maria have two boys, Austin, 2 1/2, and Isaac, 2 months.
Both their parents also live in Rangely. Chris’ dad Frank England works for the county sheriff and his mother Tresa works at CNCC. Target Trucking employs Maria’s dad Steve Lucero and her mother Lisa works at Family Dollar.
Chris’ brother Jeremiah England lives in Grand Junction. Maria siblings are also Rangely residents. She has two brothers, Josh and Shawn Lucero and a sister Makayla Lucero.
“We enjoy traveling, camping, getting out on 4-wheelers and riding our street bike. We also have a garden and Maria loves scrapbooking,” Chris said.
“I love the small town community feel here that we can always rely on one another for anything you need. Rangely has always been home. You move away for any given time and you always miss it,” Chris added.
