Letter: Amicable separation for Pierson and ERBM

For the past three years, Scott Pierson has satisfactorily performed his work responsibilities as the executive director of the Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Park District. Due to a difference in management philosophy, the district board and Mr. Pierson agreed to the amicable separation of his employment, effective Sept. 6, 2011. Mr. Pierson will be using accrued paid leave until that date. Day-to-day district operations will be handled by operations manager, Michael Weinbrecht and facility manager, Dondi Glasscock. The district board currently is considering its options for filling the vacant executive director position. The district board’s top priority has been and continues to be, providing high quality, cost-effective park and recreation services to the community.
