Obituary: Laura Irene Osborne Crandell

Laura Irene Osborne Crandell passed away Sept. 16, 2012. She was born in Montrose, Colo., Nov. 23, 1914. She married John Osborne in 1931. He is deceased. Together they had eight children: Virgil (Phyllis) deceased; Ruby (Ernie) Martin of Farmington, N.M.; Edra Lutz of Grand Junction, Colo.; James Osborne, deceased; Carol Lea Gentry, deceased; Floyd Osborne (Ty) of Rangely; Donnie Osborne, whereabouts unknown; and Jake (Laura) Osborne, Rangely.
In 1964 Laura married Harold Crandell and they made their home in Rangely. They had many wonderful years together until Harold passed away in 1988.
Laura is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Laura loved to be outside in the garden and yard with her flowers. She was an amazingly strong woman with a smile for everyone.
She will be missed by everyone. A memorial service is planned for the spring.
