Range Call Royalty tryouts were held Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, in Meeker. Maclaine Shults and Kaitlyn Dinwiddie from Meeker as well as Katye Allred from Rangely participated in tryouts. Natalie Carroll, 2011’s first attendant/lady-in-waiting was crowned 2012 Range Call queen. Maclaine Shults was crowned 2012 first attendant/lady-in-waiting. Kaitlyn Dinwiddie was crowned 2012 second attendant and Katye Allred was crowned 2012 Range Call princess. They are looking forward to participating and volunteering at upcoming events such as Septemberfest in Rangely and the Meeker Classic Sheepdog Trials in Meeker.
