Shop With A Cop …

Meeker Police Officer Wylie Hetzel and a student from Meeker participated in “Shop With a Cop” at Walmart in Craig before Christmas. Officer Hetzel is a recent academy graduate and a new addition to the Meeker police force. Craig Walmart donated $3,000 for the Shop With a Cop program. Seven students in Meeker applied and received $300 each to spend on family and themselves. Leftover money is being used to pay off overdue school lunches and given to Meeker residents as Chamber Bucks.
