RBC I 4-H action is just about in full swing in Rio Blanco County, and the butterbraids are taking over.
It was great to see so many Rio Blanco County community members support the 4-Hers with this awesome fundraiser! Our 4-H members have sold more than $10,000 in butterbraids and cookie dough and will keep $4,325 in individual profits for their 4-H credit accounts to pay for enrollment, events, trips and conferences.
This year, we have a tie for top sellers: Kastyn Demboski and Phalon Osborn each sold $1,176 in braids and dough!
Last weekend was the annual Northwestern Colorado 4-H District Retreat.
4-H has so much to offer and it’s not even summer yet.
Many clubs have already started and some are even full for the year, but there are several clubs that are still taking enrollment!
The following clubs are open for enrollment in and will start soon.
In Meeker: Cloverbuds, art, photography, fishing, cooking, rockets, LEGO engineering, sewing and scrapbooking.
In Rangely: horse, scrapbooking, fishing, cake decorating, leathercraft, fishing and LEGO engineering.
We are looking for some amazing folks to help our 4-H members by becoming a 4-H club leader. Becoming a club leader is an awesome experience and can be tailored to fit your busy schedule. Please call the Extension Office if you are interested.
We have kids enrolled and waiting for 4-H leaders for the following clubs:
In Meeker: art, photography, rockets, fishing and LEGO engineering.
In Rangely: cake decorating, leathercraft, fishing and LEGO engineering.
