Macy Collins places at National Shorthorn Show

MEEKER I Macy Collins of Meeker attended the Junior National Shorthorn Show and Conference in Louisville, Ky., the week of June 23-28, establishing quite a bit of success in several competitions.

Three shooters place at state fair

RBC I Three Rio Blanco County residents finished well in Colorado State Fair events involving shooting, the last event to be reported this year from the fair, held in Pueblo.

4-H Outdoor Adventure Group…

On July 31, the 4-H Outdoor Adventure group joined with the Bureau of Land Management to install a sign and bench on the Dorcas-Jensen/BLM Trail above Meeker.

Meeker junior wins 5 ribbons at Junior National Shorthorn Show

MEEKER I Macy Collins of Meeker attended the Junior National Shorthorn Show and Conference in Des Moines, Iowa, the week of June 24-29, and she came away with a couple of ribbons. While there, Collins competed against 413 juniors with her heifers and also in several contests.
