MEEKER I For a fourth year in a row, Rangely’s William Scoggins has won the annual Run For Your Life 5K held in Meeker during the 130th annual Range Call Celebration.
19 teams join Range Call 3-on-3 basketball play; six teams win
MEEKER I Nineteen teams endured the heat on Saturday to play in the annual Main Street Madness 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, in which six teams won championships in three different age divisions.

Fireworks display requires a major commitment
MEEKER I The night before this year’s annual fireworks show, the Herald Times was on-scene at the Meeker Firehouse to observe certified pyro-technicians Zack Allen and Rich Merriam as they tediously wired the electronically-fired 396-shell spectacle, which was about 100 more shells than last year.
