RANGELY I The Rangely High School wrestling team went on the road and found some big-school competition in Delta during the past weekend, and this weekend the Panthers will ride the bus again to Kremmling, where they will wrestle in the West Grand Invitational.
The Panthers wrestled and lost duals to Moffat County and Hotchkiss on Friday before entering the Panther Invitational tournament in Delta the following day, where no Panther was able to win or place.
“We looked better than last week and that’s all I really ask, is for us to get better each week,” new head coach Travis Witherell said. “We’ll keep practicing, sooner or later it will all come together and we will have some wins.”
