MEEKER — Ken Holsinger was the first to cross the finish line in the first annual Road Rash and Splash mini-triathlon, held last Saturday as part of the ERBM Recreation and Parks District’s community appreciation day. Lisa Belmonte was the first woman to cross the line and second overall.

RDH receives new ambulance, replaces older unit
RANGELY — The Rangely District Hospital has a new ambulance. The new 2008 Lifeline ambulance replaces an older unit. Ambulance director Shanna Kinney gave a tour of the new vehicle for the hospital board and the county commissioners and explained the operational details and spoke of the acquisition process.
