This year’s general election has three measures on its ballot that warrant discussion. It’s critical that the public understand the implications of the proposed Amendments 60 and 61 and Proposition 101 before they vote on them.

Community cantata practice on Mondays
MEEKER I Practice for the annual community cantata will be 7 p.m. Mondays at Richards Hall at St. James Episcopal Church. The cantata will be the second Sunday in December at the Meeker High School auditorium.
Postal scam warning issued in Meeker
MEEKER I The Meeker Post Office warned that postal customers may receive bogus e-mails about a package delivery. The e-mails contain a link that, when opened, installs a malicious virus capable of stealing personal information from computers.
