Meeker golfer second at Rifle

RBC | Meeker High School’s Trey Morris shot an 18-hole score of 74 to finish second Aug. 23 at Rifle Creek Golf Course.
Cross-county rival Rangely Senior High was led by seniors Kacey Denny and Caleb Templeton with scores of 96.
Freshman Andrew Morton, playing in his first tournament for the Panthers, shot a 131, and Chris Staley had a 139.
Both Rio Blanco County golf teams played Monday at Glenwood Springs. Rangely will host a tournament Aug. 17 at Cedar Ridges Golf Course.
