phsptgolf2 — Above: Meeker’s Trey Morris shot an 85 at regionals Tuesday at Montrose. He qualified for the state tournament at Eaton on Oct. 4 and 5. He was also named second-team all-conference this week. Morris placed first last Friday with a score of 80 at a three-team tournament at Rangely’s Cedar Ridges Golf Course. JJ Wyatt shot a 94, Hunter Fellows 101, Dalton Rholl 105, Adrian Shoyer 121, Ty Shepard 125 and John Mack Sheridan 133. The Cowboys had a team score of 276. Morris, Wyatt, Fellows and Rholl advanced to Tuesday’s regional. At left: Rangely finished second in its tournament with a team score of 332. The Panthers were led by Caleb Templeton, who shot his best score of the season, a 93.

MEEKER I At Haymaker Golf Course Sept. 8 in Steamboat, Meeker scores were: Trey Morris 78, Dalton Rholl 98, Hunter Fellows 100, JJ Wyatt 107 and Ty Shepard 146.
On Sept. 9 at Craig, scores were: Morris 92, Rholl 103, Fellows 111, Wyatt 116, Joey Scherbarth 121, John Mack Sheridan 133, Cody McLaughlin 153 and Shepard 154.
