Council hosts April outreach

RBC — The Northwest Colorado Council for Children and Families has many great things in the works. Debbie Yeager of Craig, Colo., has been hired as the early childhood coordinator for Moffat and Rio Blanco counties. Yeager has more than 11 years of education experience and is very excited about her new coordinator position.
“The purpose for this council will be to assist citizens of Moffat and Rio Blanco counties to understand, identify and communicate the needs of young children and their families,” said Yeager.
The council will meet the needs by creating collaborative relationships across counties, within agencies and with individuals. This council will focus on four domains: early care and education, health care, mental health and family support. There are three community outreach events scheduled: April 15 in Rangely and Meeker and April 16 in Craig.
