The Meeker girls’ basketball team dominated the Nucla Mustangs in the semifinals and then beat league foe Soroco in the regional championship game to advance to the “Big Dance” in Pueblo. Representing Meeker in the girls’ 2A bracket of the 2014 Colorado State Basketball Championships are in front: Taylor Morris, Sydney Hughes, Taylor Neilson, Deena Norell, Aly Ridings, Piper Haney and Megan Parker.
