The fall colors were on display at the Chris Severy Invitational in Aspen on Saturday. The course begins and ends on the fields behind the high school, and uses the adjoining open spaces and trails. A true Colorado cross country course, there are few flat sections, and appropriately for Aspen, the racers run under a ski lift for a short time.

Cameron Hanberg ran the notoriously difficult Aspen course in 26 minutes and 52 seconds.
