The defending state champion Meeker Cowboys sent five wrestlers to Paonia for a wrestling camp, and according to high school assistant coach Carl Padilla, “We had a great camp; the kids wrestled well.” Attending the camp were Casey Turner, Jacob Pelloni, Caleb Bradford, with Tannen Kennedy on his back and Hunter Garcia. Several Cowboys will attend another camp this week in Gunnison.
