Sept. 10, 2016 marked a historic day for high school sports in Meeker. The new track was dedicated to Bob King during halftime at the first home football game of the season. The school board chose to dedicate the track to King not only because of the King family’s many donations to the project, but because of King’s dedication to the high school as a former superintendent.
