RBC | Meeker 4-H Enrollment Night will be Tuesday, Oct. 16, in the 4-H Community Building from 5-8 p.m. There will be a chili dinner available and leaders will be available to discuss their clubs with parents of existing and new members. 4-H is open to anyone between the ages of 8 and 18 and Cloverbuds is for ages 5-7.
Rangely 4-H will be having an Enrollment Party with swimming at the Rangely Rec Center from 6-8 p.m.
Oct. 27 is the second annual A Magical Night at Hogwarts in Meeker 4-H fund raiser held at the RBC Fairgrounds from 5-9 p.m. This event is open to the public. 4-H clubs host booths to raise money for their clubs in a Halloween carnival-like setting with food, games, activities and fun “magical” items for sale. A STEM learning area is also available. This event is based on the Harry Potter novels. A maze, train rides on the Hogwarts Express and horse-drawn carriage rides will be available. It will be a fun-filled night for all ages.
Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. RBC Extension will be hosting 4-H leader training. Lunch will be provided. This is for all RBC 4-H leaders and anyone interested in becoming a 4-H leader.
