Final summer concert is Saturday night

MEEKER | The bluegrass and classic jazz band Pete Wernick and Flexigrass will perform on the courthouse lawn, 550 Main, from 4 p.m. until dark on Saturday.
When describing his style, which combines tradition with futurism, Wernick will cite his long-term motto, “Sounds good, it must be good.” The band features vibes, clarinet, banjo and more.
This is the last free concert in the 2009 ERBM Recreation and Park District Summer Entertainment Series. Remember to provide your own seating, refreshments and jackets.
