Although Cowboy football will not be playing until February, the Cowboy Kickoff Classic took place on schedule last Friday at the Meeker Golf Course. Ten teams competed for the top two spots to help support Cowboy football in their largest fundraiser of the year. This year the top spot went to the team of (top) Mike Bullen, Cory Bullen, Bill deVergie and Sam Etheridge (not pictured) with a score of 62, and second place went to (bottom) Darby Finley, Mindy Finley, Andy Coryell and Jim Abshire. Football practice is scheduled to begin Feb. 22, 2021 with the first games set for the week of March 6, 2021.
