RANGELY I Rangely volleyball coach Jimmie Mergelman “was pleased with the weekend,” as her team traveled to Glenwood Springs for a tournament. The team gave their coach plenty to be excited about, winning two of four matches and forcing a tough Denver Christian School to three games.

RBC | The Rio Blanco County Fair kicked off its horse competition Friday night with the working cow horse competition followed by several team roping events.
Historical Society history camp concludes
MEEKER I Rio Blanco County Historical Society partnered with ERBM Recreation and Park District to provide Meeker children an opportunity to discover history in their own backyard. History Camp was conducted each Thursday in June with approximately 15 youths in attendance each week.

MEEKER I The Rio Blanco Historical Society had an educational and entertaining quarterly meeting at St. James Episcopal Church in Meeker June 30. The meeting was held in the hall named for Father Will Richards, in honor of guest speaker Andrew Cooley, who was in character as Father Richards.
