Rio Blanco County hires chamber director to head economic development
RBC I Rio Blanco County has hired a Meeker woman to be the new county economic development director, working closely with the county, Meeker and Rangely town governments and the chambers of commerce in the area to increase economic development throughout the county.
Early morning fire does damage to Rangely home
RANGELY I A house fire broke out early Monday morning south of Rangely, severely damaging the home and resulting in a female living at the residence being taken to Rangely District Hospital with minor injuries, the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office reported.
2013 was good year of progress in Meeker

MEEKER I It was a good to average Christmas season for several of the retail merchants in Meeker, most of them buoyed by Small Business Saturday, when nearly all reported a great increase in the amount of local traffic.
