RBC I It’s hot! It’s freezing! It’s humid! It was quite a diverse year in Rio Blanco County. The temperature from the year’s coldest to the year’s warmest, as recorded from Jan. 1 to the end of October, spanned 129 degrees.

Family Dollar set for Meeker opening later in November
MEEKER I The new Family Dollar outlet in Meeker will be open to the public on Nov. 21. The store, located at 184 Market St. in Meeker, is opening on schedule, Family Dollar public relations manager Bryn R. Winburn told the Herald Times.
