Meeker JV outlasts Moffat County Bulldogs 28-20
MEEKER I Moffat County took the opening kick-off and drove to the Meeker 25 yard line before being stopped. On the Cowboys’ first play Jake Phelan ran 75 yards for a TD on an option play. The try for two points was good and Meeker led 8-0.
BLM mustang, burro adoption
RBC I The Bureau of Land Management is scheduled to offer 20 horses and burros for adoption Sept. 22 at the Mesa County Sheriff’s Posse Grounds.
