Restrictions upped to Stage II

RBC I Extreme fire conditions in northwestern Colorado have prompted the Northwest Colorado Fire Management Unit to increase fire restrictions to the “Stage II” level for all BLM lands in the Little Snake, Kremmling and White River field offices beginning Friday, June 22.

RANGELY I Close to 1,500 people turned out June 7 for Moon Lake Electric Association’s annual members meeting. The event was held for the first time in its new headquarters operations building located at 800 West Hwy. 40 in Roosevelt, Utah.

Chamber to produce commercial

MEEKER I Meeker Chamber of Commerce executive director Katelin Cook announced that the Meeker Chamber of Commerce has contracted with CV&A Films to produce a television commercial about the national tourism potential for the White River valley and Meeker area.
