The Meeker Police Department would like to remind all citizens to be on the alert for people running scams either on the phone or through the mail. Two types of fraud have been reported recently in our area.

Unbuckled deaths rose in 2011

Despite a continuous decline in the number of people killed in traffic crashes in Colorado over the past decade, the number of people who died without seat belts increased for the first time since 2002. 

RBC to complete wildfire plan
