Dear Editor: The Bureau of Land Management’s White River Field Office would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Rangely Boy Scout Troop 150 and Scoutmaster David Morton for their service in performing a trash clean-up Aug. 9 of Texas Beach along the White River, west of Rangely.

What’s better than a live demonstration to whet your appetite for the real thing? Meeker Classic trial director Maym Cunningham and her sister, retired trial director Ellen Nieslanik were invited to perform a sheep herding demonstration at the Snowmass Night Rodeos.
