A touch of island culture and dancing was enjoyed by all that attended the luau on June 12 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Our community has been blessed with island people that are so willing to share their culture, laughter and warmth.

Ritter names former DA to fill vacant post
RBC I Gov. Bill Ritter has named the former district attorney in the 9th Judicial District to the same position in the 22nd Judicial District in southwest Colorado. Mark “Mac” Myers of Mancos will replace Jim Wilson, who died in a motorcycle accident in May.
