Marlena Miller of Rangely participated in the Western Conference Finals in Denver, a junior dragster event only. “She had great time and learned a lot,” said her father, Ed, of her first season racing. Jeremy Ahrens finished ninth with 420 points.

Rangely youth perform in Pinocchio
RANGELY | Rangely youth participated in the Nov. 9 production at the high school auditorium of “Pinocchio,” through a collaboration with the Missoula Children’s Theatre. The program was open to students kindergarten through 12th grade.
Letter: Life Support Course will save local lives
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday of this past weekend 45 healthcare practitioners, EMTs, firefighters, law enforcement personnel, and oil and gas industry employees from Meeker, Rifle, Rangely and Grand Junction participated in a Basic and Advanced Disaster Life Support Training Course held here in Meeker.
