Both high schools hold commencement this weekend
RBC I This will be a busy weekend for high school graduations in Rio Blanco County as 38 students will be graduated from Meeker High School on Saturday morning and 29 Rangely High School graduates will receive their diplomas on Sunday afternoon.

Joanne Pilkington Cotten was born in Colby, Kan., on Sept. 13, 1933. She was hit and killed instantly by a speeding and distracted driver on Oct. 10, 2015, in Mesa, Ariz., while crossing the street to return to her home.
