RANGELY I The Rangely High School Track and Field team had its last regular meet of the season on Saturday at Cedaredge. It was a meet with lots of new personal bests and some heartbreak as some athletes hoping to have one more meet weren’t able to qualify for state.

Rangely Middle School’s track team ends season
RANGELY I The Rangely Middle School Track season was short and sweet, with a lot of kids coming back from last year’s team. We had an outstanding group of sixth graders and we lucked out with the weather.
Ryan Wix gets state award for mechanical engineering
MEEKER I Since 1927, the American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado (ACEC) has bestowed the Medal of Award, also known as the Silver Medal, to one deserving student each year, and this year it was presented to a former Meeker student.
