Workplace drugs to be topic of luncheon

MEEKER I The next Meeker Chamber of Commerce’s local Business Leader Luncheon will be held Friday featuring a free barbecue lunch from 1 to 2 p.m., hosted by Rocky Mountain Toxicology at their office at 73544 Highway 64 (the old BLM Building).

CNCC lab dedicated to Chevron

RANGELY I CNCC President Russell George hosted several friends of the college and Chevron Area Manager Greg Germani on July 8 in the Rector Arts and Sciences Building for the formal dedication ceremony naming the Rector Chemistry Lab for Chevron.

Band plays Friday on courthouse lawn

MEEKER I The Meeker Summer Entertainment Series, sponsored by the Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Parks District, will offer free music from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday on the lawn at the Rio Blanco County Courthouse on Main Street in Meeker.
