Dear Editor: The White River and Douglas Creek conservation districts of Rio Blanco County support the State of Colorado pushing back against the federal agencies as they develop land-use plans and consider listing the greater sage-grouse.
Teacher evaluations may get a mix of reviews
MEEKER I Colorado educator perceptions about teacher evaluations declined between 2011 and 2013, according to the Teaching, Empowering, Leading and Learning (TELL) Colorado survey. However, pilot studies of the evaluation system in Denver have shown improvements in educator perceptions during implementation.

Dear Editor: And now, the “rest of the story.” The Town of Meeker held a planning commission hearing Monday to determine whether Fifth Street between Main and Park streets should be closed so the county can “create a park” between the school and the courthouse.”
