Meeker considering return to four days
MEEKER I As school districts scramble to respond to impending state budget cuts, one option being considered on both ends of the county is the four-day school week. Rangely’s school district has held public forums and surveys while it studies whether to switch to the four-day school week.
Witherell is state champ at 152 pounds
For the first time since 1997, Rangely has a state wrestling champion. Senior Travis Witherell recorded a takedown in overtime to win the individual title in the 152-pound weight class Saturday at the state wrestling championships in Denver.
