Plan set for extending sewer line

MEEKER I More than 30 people gathered Nov. 13 to learn about the water and sewer extension project to extend water and sewer service to the Curtis Creek Industrial Park, the new Pioneers Medical Center facility and the commercial area at Thornburgh Road.

Obituary: Merle Evelyn Snyder Brenton

Merle Evelyn Snyder Brenton was the youngest daughter of Parker Lindley and Grace Minnie Shugart Snyder. She was born in Independence, Montgomery County, Kan., on May 10, 1910. She passed away on Oct. 19, 2013, at the age of 103 years, five months and nine days.
