MEEKER I Twenty-eight teams filled the Meeker Golf Course last weekend and although only a handful were local, two of them placed in two of the three flights in the annual couples tournament. Couples from three states competed in the annual two-day, 36-hole event.

DEDICATION CEREMONY, RIBBON CUTTING MARK OPENING OF THE NEW MEEKER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL School board member Bill de Vergie and Susan Goettel, superintendent, along with other board members did the honors during Monday’s dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new Meeker Elementary School.

Classic art entries on display at Wilber Barn
