Since Kacey’s radiation treatment in March, she is finally getting back to her old self. Although the tumor shrank quite a bit from the radiation, the fight is far from over. She doesn’t need to see any more doctors until June 14 for a follow-up MRI.

Memorial Service: Herb Blagg
A memorial service for Herb Blagg, who died April 22, will be held Friday at the Meeker Christian Church at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Twin Peaks Bible Camp would be appreciated in his name. Blagg, 81, was a longtime pharmacist in Meeker.

MEEKER I The boys’ basketball team culminated its season April 18 at its annual banquet, hosted by the senior players’ parents. MHS coaches Neil Joy and Matt Dupire handed out junior varsity participation certificates to 11 younger members of the team who did not compete at the varsity level.
