MEEKER I VFW Post 5843, along with the Ladies’ Auxiliary, invites veterans of the Korean War — Friday is the 60th anniversary of the start of the war — as well as all other veterans to join them for the Range Call parade on July 4.

In her recent column, Lt. Gov. O’Brien attempted to justify the U.S. Department of Education. I wasn’t convinced. As a state official, Ms. O’Brien should be objecting to the powers taken by the feds from state prerogatives. Sticking to the Constitution is an even more compelling reason.
Moyer to travel to Germany with 4-H Youth Exchange
Kelly Moyer, a 2006 Meeker High School graduate and a recent graduate of Colorado State University, will travel to Germany for six months with the International 4-H Youth Exchange.
