MEEKER — A helicopter landed near Meeker Elementary School recently as part of the annual Say No To Drugs campaign at the school.
County incidents increase slight 4.3 percent in March
RBC — The combined incidents for the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office and the Meeker Police Department modestly increased during March 2009, with a 4.3 percent increase in activity compared to March 2008.
Meeker Golf Course hosts “The Opener”
MEEKER — It’s the first tournament of the season at the Meeker Golf Course, a three-person scramble, also known as “the opener.” Ten teams competed in the 18-hole tournament.
